Relationship & Individual Counselling in Crowthorne

Individual Counselling

Lavender flowers growing in a field

Counselling can help you uncover the root causes of your struggles and identify the triggers for certain situations and emotions. It offers a valuable opportunity to explore new ways of relating, regain control over your life, and progress forward. Ultimately, counselling offers you a deeper understanding of yourself and your challenges, empowering you to achieve personal growth.

I must say that in all my years of practice, joining an individual, for a while, on their personal journey; for a moment, entering and understanding their world as they see it is a great privilege.

I charge £75 for up to 60 minutes and £95 for up to 90 minutes.

Relationship Counselling

Whether you've been together for two years or twenty, investing in your relationship is one of the most meaningful gifts you can give yourselves—and each other.

Choosing relationship counselling isn't an admission that something is wrong—it's a commitment to nurturing one of the most important parts of your life. Whether you're looking to reconnect, navigate a difficult season, strengthen communication, or simply create an even deeper partnership, counselling provides a supportive space where both people feel heard, understood and valued.

One of the most common concerns people have before their first session is, "Will the Counsellor take sides?" The answer is no. My role is not to judge who is right or wrong, but to support the relationship itself. Together, we'll explore each person's perspective with curiosity, compassion and respect, creating an environment where both voices matter equally.

When communication begins to break down, it's easy for conversations to become repetitive, defensive or painful. Over time, both partners can feel unheard, misunderstood or disconnected. Relationship counselling offers a calm, confidential space where difficult conversations become possible, misunderstandings can be untangled, and new ways of connecting can emerge.

Together, we'll work to:

  • Deepen your understanding of one another's thoughts, emotions and needs.
  • Build communication that feels more open, constructive and authentic.
  • Navigate conflict and challenging decisions with greater confidence and mutual respect.
  • Reconnect with the affection, trust, humour and friendship that first brought you together.
  • Strengthen your partnership with practical tools that support lasting change.
  • Create a shared vision for the future that feels right for both of you.

Sessions are £120 and last up to 90 minutes.

Clinical Supervision for Counsellors Working with individuals, couples and Young People

Woodland path surrounded by trees

Working therapeutically with adults and young people is both rewarding and demanding. I believe that effective supervision provides a reflective, supportive space where one feels understood, challenged, and encouraged to develop practice.

With over 20 years' experience as a Lead within a specialist counselling charity for young people, I bring an in-depth understanding of the complexities, rewards and ethical challenges of this work. I understand the realities of working within schools, charities and community settings, alongside the pressures of safeguarding, risk management and supporting young people with increasingly complex needs.

My approach to supervision is collaborative rather than directive. I believe supervision works best when we think together, creating a safe and trusting relationship where you can reflect openly, celebrate successes, explore challenges and grow in confidence as a practitioner.

Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced counsellor, I aim to offer a balance of support and gentle challenge, helping you to:

  • develop confidence in your clinical decision-making
  • deepen your understanding of the therapeutic relationships
  • navigate safeguarding and ethical dilemmas
  • reflect on the impact of the work on yourself
  • continue growing as a thoughtful and resilient practitioner.

I value curiosity, authenticity and mutual respect and see supervision as a partnership that nurtures both professional competence and personal wellbeing. I look forward to hearing from you.

What happens next? I offer an initial no-obligation 20 minute discussion where we decide if working together would be beneficial.

Cost: My fees are £75 for up to 60 minutes and £100 for 1.5 hours.

Where can I find you? I offer both online and in-person supervision. My practice is in private, comfortable and secure accommodation in Crowthorne, with adequate parking facilities.
